6th and 7th Grade Photo Makeup Day

The NYCDOE has announced that there are changes to the school year calender to make up for the days lost by Hurricane Sandy.

Three days from the February Winter Recess have been changed back. the dates are February 20-22, 2012. One more additional day on June 4th, 2013 has been changed from a clerical half day to a full school day.

Principal Angueira and the whole staff at IS 126Q is proud to announce that the school has received an "A" on it's 2011-12 Progress Report.

Recent News

Auditorium overhaul is complete!

IS 126 is excited to announce that the school received a grant to have the audio/visual systems refinished. The work is complete and the auditorium is ready to use.
Included in the overhaul is a state of the art electronic system. The speakers can now be heard CLEARLY thanks to a surround sound JBL system. The system has a new digital projector, new screen, blue-ray dvd player, and new wireless microphone system.
