Attention All Students that Receive Supplemental Education Services (SES)
Principal Angueira has received notification that the City has to make changes to the programs because they are running out of funds.ALL SES programs will be shut down between February 13, 2012 and March 5, 2012. That includes home tutoring, off school sites, and in school programs. When the SES programs reopen, they will only provide services to students that get a completely free lunch. All other students will lose services. Again this is not the doing of IS 126, it is a change made by the NYCDOE.

Saturday Program begins February 4, 2012.
 The program runs from 9am to 12pm. The program runs every Saturday between February 4 and March 31st. The two Saturdays during Winter Recess (Feb 18 & 25) the program is closed. Students that have registered will be notified shortly.

AS OF JANUARY  3RD, 2012, THE HIGH SCHOOL ADMISSION CHOICE PROCESS IS CLOSED! ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE AT THIS TIME!
HIGH SCHOOLS ARE NOW RANKING STUDENTS AND ASSIGNING THEM TO SCHOOLS. WE WILL RECEIVE THOSE RESULTS MID FEBRUARY. THOSE WHO CHOSE NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROCESS, WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO CHOOSE A SCHOOL FROM WHOMEVER HAS AN OPENING IN THE SECOND ROUND. THE SPECIALIZED SCHOOLS AS WELL AS AUDITIONS SCHOOLS WILL MAKE AN OFFER AT THAT TIME.

Why stand out in the cold weather in the morning?
You could come to IS 126 and get breakfast before school in the school's cafeteria.
The Breakfast Program begins every morning at 7:20 am and ends at 7:50 am. The menu for the program can be found in the "School Resources" section in "Cafeteria Corner". It should be noted that bagel's with bacon, egg, and cheese are often on the menu too.
