The Albert Shanker School is pleased to announce that we will be having our Annual Multicultural Festival from May 21st to May 25th 2012.
This year we are celebrating music from around the world. We will have performances, presentations, crafts, art and projects created by students and teachers. The Festival will take place during school hours in the auditorium, where students, parents and staff members will be invited each day.On Thursday May 24th, parents and students are invited to enjoy delicious foods and performances that will take place in evening in our school's auditorium.
The multicultural festival is a wonderful event where the spirit of cultural unity is undeniable and embraced by all who attend. This is an event for the entire family. Please come and join us as we celebrate diversity among us from around the world.
We will be having auditions on Monday May 7th from 2:30 -3:30 PM, in the auditorium for students who wish to perform in the festival. We will also gather names of students that want to assist in the set up and break down of the week long festivities.
